We use a questionnaire process to help match students with the right tutors. We then review this questionnaire and decide which of our carefully selected tutors will be right for you.

Rather than asking you to browse profiles or compare tutors, we take responsibility for the matching process. We’ll suggest a tutor we feel would be a strong fit, and take things from there at a pace that feels comfortable.

Our focus is on thoughtful, long-term matches, to avoid tutor-hopping.

All tutors we work with are carefully selected based on their subject knowledge, teaching experience, and approach to working with students.

We’re not interested in building the largest possible tutor list. Instead, we work with tutors who care deeply about their teaching, value long-term relationships with students, and align with our approach to tutoring.

All of our tutors are background checked.

At present, we primarily offer online tutoring.

Online lessons allow us to work with excellent tutors and students regardless of location, while still delivering high-quality, focused support. We’re always happy to talk through whether online tutoring would be suitable for your situation.

Occasionally we may be able to match you with a tutor near by for in-person tutoring.

Tutoring fees can vary depending on the level of study, the tutor, and the type of support needed.

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all rate, we allow our tutors to set a rate that feels fair based on their expertise and experience. All fees are explained clearly upfront, with no hidden costs.

Payment is arranged directly to our tutors, while our tutors pay us a fee for each lesson that takes place.

Fees vary based on experience and qualifications, as well as time spent tutoring on the site.
